Client conducts business from ITBBC. In the SDB Only configuration there would not be a separate file server (as shown in the diagram) in the disaster recovery facility. The SDB would function as it did in the client’s normal operations.

Please note all client applications are protected by the passwords that are in use at the time a disaster occurs. Workstation applications are protected by the passwords that were in use at the time of the most recent workstation image. It is the client’s responsibility to administer passwords. Availability of passwords in the event of a business outage is critical. The ITBBC is not able to override the client’s security measures in the event of lost or forgotten passwords. If the client encrypts any files the same is true for encryption keys.
