The IT Business Backup Center (ITBBC) provides a system which protects a business from the effects of the loss of critical business data and provides the hardware, software, data, and facilities to enable a business to operate after a physical disaster such as a fire or flood.

The client defines the critical data and the capabilities required for disaster recovery operations. The ITBBC captures the information necessary to provide support for disaster recovery operations at an ITBBC facility. The ITBBC provides the client with a Secure Data Box (SDB) which receives the client’s critical data via a LAN, stores it, and implements its transmission to two different ITBBC facilities.
